The Chicago Athletic Association unveiled an extensive renovation transforming the property, formerly an exclusive men’s club, into a stylish and blithe 240-room hotel. The existing, classical interior boasts carved walnut, mosaic tiles, and marble detailing, much of which has been preserved. The landmark has been “reanimated… without treating it like a relic.”
