The Venetian: Dining

Drawing from the rich history and culture of Macau, Sweeney Co. has selected artworks that pair traditional Chinese imagery with modern methods of construction. Notable physical landmarks are reimagined with geometric abstraction, as are cultural landmarks of Chinese/Portuguese urban collaboration. The collection includes a modular ceramic installation referencing dynastic history, silkscreened sumi-e; Chinoiserie; and western elements of color field painting.
